John Doherty created Fishaye Trading Company, he is a local Cape Cod "Fisherman artist" that catches fish to enjoy with family, along with creating sea life on portraits. In 2008, John was cleaning his boat of the day's catch when he noticed a fish's body's impression on the deck. He was so moved by the pure beauty that he asked himself, "I wonder if I can replicate that with paint?" Not soon after Fishaye Trading Company was created.
